Jonathan deBurca Butler is an Arts and Features journalist who writes regularly for The Irish Examiner and The Sunday Independent. He also is a regular contributor to Sean Moncrieff’s afternoon show on Newstalk.
Before journalism, Jonathan was a musician who cut his teeth at Dave Murphy’s singer-songwriter evenings in the International Bar in Dublin. He went on to spend two years in London as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter with five-piece Semaphore.
