Until Universal’s acquisition of the Univision Music Group (May 2008), Ms. Dold was Vice President, International, for the Univision Music Group, at the time, the largest Spanish language music company in the world.
In addition to her International marketing, brand development and exploitation responsibilities for the Univision Music Group, Ms. Dold served as the digital and mobile point of contact for the company’s four labels, working together with the distribution company, the artists, the labels, and the digital retailers to drive the transformation and growth of Latin entertainment in the digital and mobile space through conceptualizing and building promotional tools and marketing campaigns for the U.S. Hispanic market.
Prior to the 2002 formation of the Univision Music Group’s International Department, Ms. Dold held positions as Talent and Artist Relations (TAR) Consultant for MTV Networks Latin America, Head of Artist Relations for Crescent Moon Records (a joint venture between Emilio Estefan and Sony Music International), and Vice President, Island Independent Label Group (where, reporting directly to legendary founder, Chris Blackwell, she oversaw U.S. domestic marketing for the Mango, 4th & B’way, Island Red Label, Gee Street Independent, Great Jones, and Smash label imprints).
Ms. Dold has spoken on multiple entertainment industry event panels (Anglo and Hispanic), and has served as an inaugural member of the Latin Entertainment Committee for the City of Hope. A former professional musician, Ms. Dold is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (AFTRA), the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), the Music Business Association (formerly NARM), the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS), and the Latin Academy of Recording Artists & Sciences (LARAS.)
