Shelita Burke is a singer/songwriter, technologist and serial entrepreneur named by NPR as an artist to watch out for. At age 12, Shelita started software programing and began creating websites for small businesses, eventually helping to pay her way through college. Upon graduation, the Seattle native was drafted by Microsoft, but other passions continued to drive her. Quitting her high paying job as a Senior Engineer to pursue a full time music career was a risk she eventually had to take. Her unique history with technology and business has lead her to be an inspiration to many helping countless independent artists build and sustain careers.
Over the past two years, Shelita has become a true musical citizen of the world, bringing her music on self-generated world tours that hit France, Morocco, England, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Iceland, Japan, and Wales. Her first album reached #14 on Amazon’s best seller list.
