Kevin Day founded noted Label Services Platform, Rocket Science following an unceremonious downsizing from the Universal Music Group in August 2004.
Envisioned as a fully-independent Label Services Infrastructure and Content Distribution Platform, Rocket Science served the rapidly accelerating trend of well-known or “branded” artists working outside of the major label system while also providing an “A&R feeder” for independent music and independent labels into a variety of distribution platforms.
Rocket Science thrived with a roster of talented artists and clients, expansion was driven by providing an elegant solution of quality scalable services under one roof.
As the music industry continues to evolve so has Rocket Science. In 2013 the 8+ year old critically acclaimed business was re-branded as Skyrocket Entertainment.
