The Blue Dolphins Artist Matching/Comarketing Interview

  The Blue Dolphins comarketed with fellow emerging artist Amanda Grace. Here’s what this L.A. based band had to tell us about their experience:   “We have been playing youbloom festivals and taking part in the  platform for a number of years, we really enjoy your vision and being a part of the youbloom community – thanks for all you do! Together we rise.” The Blue Dolphins   Could you tell us a little about your music and where you are from?   The Blue Dolphins are a Roots -Pop Rock Band from Los Angeles  California. ‘We’ are me, Victoria Scott and Alfonso Rodenas. I am originally from South West London, UK and Alfonso is from Valencia, Spain. We are songwriters first and most of our songs start out as voice and an acoustic guitar. Our music has been described as ‘beautiful melodies, tight harmonies and an uplifting positive mood’. We embrace Folk, Pop and Roots Rock in our sound.   What inspired you to match and comarket with other youbloom artists?   We thought it was a great idea to expand our audience and that of our fellow youbloom artists.    Has comarketing with other artists with youbloom grown your fan base?    I think yes. We really enjoyed the experience of comarketing with Amanda Grace. There is strength in numbers and in comarketing there is a great comradery. Seeing what other artists are doing to market themselves keeps you on your game and doing your best.    What do you think the future holds for artist partnering in general?   Historically when artists take part in a scene – it is usually one of the steps toward their success, (Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Jewel). I think it’s a combo again of strength in numbers for the artist and a number of artists bringing in a new stream of music lovers into the scene.
