1. Front End Developer

Description: youbloom is seeking a talented frontend developer

We’re currently looking for someone to help us implement designs and best practice user experience for a new data and analytics driven web platform which will help better connect artists to new pockets of dedicated fans. The role is on a voluntary basis, with a strong possibility to be brought on full time in the future. The work is virtual.

Responsibilities

1. Help with youbloom’s technical vision, and guide the roadmap for features and releases.

2. Implement provided designs and feedback on UX and UI and service integrations

3. Help lay the technical foundations for future youbloom development team.

4. Be Independently driven and able to work collaboratively with the company’s founding members.

Requirements

1. 3 – 5 years or higher of experience development

2. HTML5 and CSS, Javascript – Angular/React, Experience with SASS, Grunt and an automated development work flow incorporating version control (Git/Subversion). Appreciation for best practice UX. Backend experience in node.js, Ruby or PHP ideal.

3. Ability to communicate clearly and work remotely.

4. Self starter keen on continual self improvement

Designer/Prototyper.

We’re currently looking for someone to help us design and prototype the user experience of a new data and analytics driven web platform which will help better connect artists to new pockets of dedicated fans. The role is on a voluntary basis, with a strong possibility to be brought on full time in the future.

Responsibilities

1. Help design youbloom’s user experience from the ground up.

2. Wireframe designs using omnigraffle, balsamiq or any other wire framing tool.

3. Create functional prototype using omnigraffle actions, invision, hype or another prototyping tool.

4. Be Independently driven and able to work collaboratively with the company’s founding members.

Requirements

1. 3 – 5 years or higher of experience with web design/development

2. Wireframing (omnigraffle, balsamiq, etc)

3. Prototyping (omnigraffle actions, Invision, hype, etc)

4. No need to be a graphic designer, but a keen eye for design always helps!

5. Ability to communicate design decisions on a semi technical level.

6. Self starter keen on continual self improvement
